About

Document Destruction Van

Document Destruction Services was started by Gerald Rogers in 1984 and is still owned and operated by the Rogers family.

The company’s philosophy is simple: to provide clients with the best possible service.

Material collected by Document Destruction Services is secure throughout the pick-up and destruction process. Clients feed material into the locked blue bin through a top slot. The blue bin is then collected on a pre-arranged day (or sooner/later if required) and transported inside a locked truck to the company’s secure Dunedin warehouse. Once inside, the warehouse door closes immediately behind the truck. The blue bins are emptied into the commercial-grade shredding machine and destroyed within 24 hours of pick up. Once shredded, the paper is pressed into bales and transported for recycling.

Most of the Document Destruction Services’ team has been with the company for more than 10 years. The team’s continuity and experience is valued by both the company and its clients. In compliance with New Zealand Security Association guidelines, every staff member is security checked annually.
